Blake International Rigs, LLC and an unnamed operator have entered into a contract to mobilize the Blake Rig 1505 to a floating platform located in the deepwater US Gulf of Mexico. Engineering, make ready and upgrade work will begin on the Blake Rig 1505 in preparation for this project, which is expected to mobilize to the SPAR in Q4 2018.

The Blake Rig 1505 is a 1500 horse power self-erecting modular platform rig. Blake International Rigs owns and operates a fleet of 10 Platform Rigs in the US and Mexico.
