Blake International Rigs recently completed the upgrades to the Blake Rig 651 for working on dynamic (floating) facilities and is now mobilizing the rig to Murphy Exploration & Production Company’s Medusa SPAR. 

In addition, Blake International Rigs and Anadarko Petroleum Corporation have extended the contract terms for the Blake Rig 1007 and Blake Rig 1505.   The Blake Rig 1007 is wrapping up operations on Anadarko’s Nansen SPAR and will be mobilizing to the Boomvang SPAR following hurricane season.The Blake Rig 1505 recently began demobilizing off the Horn Mountain SPAR for hurricane season and will return to Horn Mountain in November 2019 for another campaign.

All three of these projects are located in the Deepwater US Gulf of Mexico.
